What to know
One or two fingernail-sized, seed-free pieces are plenty. Because the seeds contain a cyanide precursor, never leave your cat with a seeded apple, and the hard core is a choking risk for a small jaw. Applesauce and sweetened apple products carry sugar and sometimes xylitol — do not share them.
