There is no reason for a cat to eat honey: they have no sweet-taste receptors, and concentrated sugar can cause nausea, diarrhea, and weight problems over time. Its sticky texture makes some cats gag.
Because raw honey can contain botulism spores, never use it for kittens. For diabetic cats it must be avoided entirely as it spikes blood sugar; manage medication and glucose only under your veterinarian's instructions.
